Ecuador’s range of volcanoes, part of the “Ring of Fire” of the Andes Mountains, presents itself as the next challenge for the Summits of Hope team.

Massive and standing alone, the volcanoes provide brooding, snow-covered contrast to the green equatorial lushness. They also provide mountaineers a rare opportunity to achieve very high altitudes without technical difficulty. Volcano climbing offers an exciting, unforgettable challenge.

We will be climbing 5 separate volcanoes, each ascending in altitude. Pasochoa (13,766ft), Guagua Pichincha (15,728ft), Iliniza Norte (16,817ft), Cotopaxi (19,347ft) and Chimborazo (20,702ft).
