Hi, this is Christina calling from Namche Bazaar in Nepal on Monday, November the 8th at 8:00 o’clock in the evening. Just calling to give our update for today… Today we left at a nice leisurely pace, it was a rest day and we went up to an acclimatization height up to about 12700 feet to a beautiful view point above the Namche Bazaar airport. Got our first full glimpses of Everest and all the surrounding peaks on the Dablam and Lhotse Shar and Nuptse and took lots of pictures of flags and just generally took in the view and then after that four of us continued on to hike up to Phunki and Khume, two villages a little bit further than Namche Bazaar and a little bit smaller and got to take in some sites … (undecipherable) and I also got to visit Khunde ….
