Vancouver -- 11:00 pm -- Hello to all of you who have been following our Summits of Hope Everest Base Camp Expedition.

Just a Quick update to let you know that our team is doing fine, and although it doesn't look like they will get out on an airplane today, it DOES look like there is a good chance of them returning to Kathmandu by Helicopter.

Thanks to hard work by our team members in Lukla, our local outfitters in Kathmandu and our "home team" back in Vancouver, we have been able to locate two helicopters that have been arranged to transfer our team out of Lukla.

The latest word is that the birds are in the air as I type this update.
