Hi, this is Summits of Hope climber Christina with our update for January 21st and Thursday morning January the 22nd. I think my last transmission might have been broken. We're here at Plaza da Mulas Base Camp. All climbers have returned to Base Camp safely. Yesterday the team descended through a thunder and lightning storm, snow and hail and we all walked back to the Refugio and enjoyed tea in the afternoon. Safely down the mountain today is our last day here in the Argentinian Andes. Today we are heading back out on foot and then we are taking a bus to Mendoza. We have about a 7 to 8 hour walk today. But lots of sunshine overhead, lots of good wishes and new found friends here in Plaza da Mulas and we are going to miss this place.
