Hi everyone. This is Gord Denhoed calling with the final update from the Summits of Hope Kilimanjaro 2012 expedition.

We're all back safely now at the Dik Dik Hotel, just outside of Arusha.

We had a FANTASTIC climb!

Everybody is back here now, showering up and getting clean after a week on the mountain.

We had a great celebration with our porters, our guides and cooks afterwards at the gate of the mountain. We gave them their tips and various other gifts to send them on their way.

We appreciate everyone at home following us over the last week to ten days.

I'd like to thank Ralph's Radio, The North Face Store Vancouver, The North Face Canada, Icebreaker. We'd like to say hello to all the kids at BC Children's Hospital, the children at Lord Byng Elementary School in Richmond, to Gibson Elementary in Delta.

We'd like to thank Trish for all her hard work, Tom, Bonnie and Kelly for doing the updates.

And I would like to say a special Happy Birthday to my father-in-law Al, for his 65th, and also for my dad Frank, I'm not exactly too sure how old you are.
