It's been a while since my last Blog update - but I figured it was time!

We are off again to the Himalaya - trekking with a large team of climber / fundraisers to Everest Base Camp. I can't tell you how excited I am to be a part and to watch Summits of Hope grow yet again.

It won' be long until our team is snacking on lentil soup and breathing in the yak smoke fires in the thin air of the Himalaya. The stars and the Bhuddist monuments coupled with sky scraping peaks against an almost black sky... I can't wait.

We have now broken one million dollars raised for BC Children's Hospital. With this climb, we have already started our push towards two million.

I still pinch myself to make sure everything is real.
