Don has enjoyed his past 3 climbs with Summits of Hope and encourages all those who would like to climb with the team to just do it and sign up, it's for a great cause! Like many of the climbers, Don has lost a loved one to cancer. When Don was 13 years old his father Joseph Edwards passed away of Pancreatic cancer.

Don is the proud father of two sons Hunter and Jack and enjoys his life with his wife Kirsten in the village of Lions Bay. Don enjoys hiking, skiing, hockey, boating, international travel, playing his guitar with friends etc. Don completed the Penticton Ironman in 2003 and has run several Marathons.
