Hi - I'm one of the few people I know to be a 4th generation "BCer". I was born and raised in Ladner and grew up with my Mom, two brothers and a sister.

I was a very independent child and spent much of my time outside and coming up with creative ways to build businesses to earn extra pocket money. One of my first entrepreneurial ventures was thevCracker Jack Program at age 6, where I'd divide up and sell off the Cracker Jack prizes to commuters for enough profit to buy another box.

That was the beginning of my entrepreneurial career. I now have a successful financial planning practice with Investors Group and am looking forward to the very different challenge of climbing Kilimanjaro with three of my IG colleagues - one of them being my amazing wife, Ida.

I'm blessed in my life with a healthy 10 year old son Dana that I enjoy camping and snowboarding with and have reached a point where I want to give back to kids and families that haven't been as fortunate as mine.


I feel I've reached a point in my career and personal life where I want to use the skills I have to benefit others. Raising money for the Children's Hospital now, is our way of using our time and energy to support a fabulous organization before we start our own family later this year.

I'm also dedicating my climb to Ida's 7 year old cousin Murray, who has just been diagnosed with a terminal form of MS. We'll have his smiling face in our minds as we summit Kilimanjaro together.
