Rob's Bio
Rob Plank, age 29, is The Man with the vision behind "Summits of Hope". Rob was inspired to put this colossal endeavor into motion after completing a 600 km. bike ride that raised $100 000 of local money for child related cancer.

Rob is an athlete by nature, previously a competitive downhill skier, national level middle distance runner and category 1 road cyclist. Rob boasts having won the B.C. championships in the 1500 m. steeplechase, and also winning a gold medal in the senior mens road race at the B.C. Summer Games.

A full time paramedic in Vancouver, with nine years of experience, he has also worked as a paramedic in Whistler B.C. and as a ski patroller on Blackcomb Mtn..

Rob's years of experience in the mountains began at a very early age, throughout the years he has successfully climbed and skied many of the mountains in British Columbia and Washington Cascades. He proudly leads these four expeditions with hopes or safely summiting all.
