At 27, Ash has been a firefighter with the New Westminster Fire Dept for just under 2 years. Previously he spent several years as a Forestry Technician working throughout southern B.C.. Ash has always been involved in the community through sports teams, youth organizations, and as a volunteer Search and Rescue member.

Having grown up in the Kootenays, the mountains have always been a part of life hiking, climbing, and backcountry snowboarding are just a few of his favorite pastimes. Playing in his band тElsewhereт allows his creativity to flow through music, which is such a powerful medium.

Ash has experienced the loss of family and friends to Cancer, and believes deeply in this worthwhile cause. Ash has a passion for traveling and has explored many parts of the world, but South America is a new one and he canтt wait for the adventure to start!
