About Me

My life changed for the better when I joined Summits of Hope in 2013. After signing up to participate in the Cotopaxi, Ecuador climb I went to a Mountain of Toys presentation at BC Children's Hospital. I saw first hand the need for funds for kids and families at the hospital. Folks from Summits of Hope went out and bought the toys themselves and provided room bound patients with personal ipads so they could entertain themselves through the long days in bed, attempt to keep up with school work and reach out to friends who were not allowed to visit. Seeing the light in these kids eyes as the toys and ipads were presented warmed my heart. These little humans are so strong and every day they are climbing their own mountains. I continue to climb mountains and am constantly inspired by the courage and commitment of these kids. Please consider a donation to BC Children's Hospital through Summits of Hope. You will receive a charitable donation receipt and the warm fuzzy feeling that comes with helping others. Summits of Hope directs all donations to areas which will personally benefit the families and none of the money received by the British Columbia Children's Hospital Foundation will be used for fund administration.
